Anthem Heart threw a party to celebrated the launch of some of their new clothing designs and collaborations at Vs Social Standard in Uptown Minneapolis. It was more wild than we expected - complete with a few (unfortunate) brawls outside.
The rest of the party was all smiles and rainbows!

Big thanks to the Moon Goons for getting the dance floor jumpin’. It was an early Tuesday night, but we went through 15 cases of PBR and 3 party jugs of Vodka with the Redbull mixer. Vs Social Standard, The Moon Goons and Anthem Heart, know how to throw a party!
Yes! We’ve got a lot of free shit to give out tonight at LA RIOTS. We play from 11-12 or so SO get there early. I haven’t decided what I am going to play yet but I want to do something a little different than total bloghaus since you’ll be listening to it for two hours via LA RIOTS.

I’m going to be playing a two hour set on Radio K today from 6-8PM. We are also giving away two tickets to the LA Riots show tomorrow so listen! The first hour I’m going to play a bunch of weird psych rock tracks and disco and then the second hour play some LA Riots and other bloghaus so y’all can get a taste of what to expect come tomorrow’s party.

When I read that Mutators were from Vancouver, (which is where I am from), I secretly fantasized that someone from my old high school grew up to be cool and in a band like this but I’m pretty sure I have never met these people in my life. I hesitate to write anything about they sound because when I wrote stuff about Blank Dogs, dude from the band totally sonned me in the comments section and made me scared of the internet.
Mutators has a girl singer and a guy who plays lots of crazy guitar effects, so if I tell you it sounds like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will that make you want to listen to it more or less? Back to last Friday… it was wild and crazy kids. We teamed up with tons of local people to pop off the one year anniversary of Honeymoon. It really popped off too. I think it was our biggest Honeymoon yet. I know I always say that but I mean it every time. Thanks to everyone for coming out and honestly thanks to everyone for their support over the last year. People were glowing in the dark from left to right. The winner of the best costume was this girl in the suit and hat…

Also yeah my mom was at Honeymoon. My mom… that’s kind of weird right? Not really she is a party animal and she was takin party pixx all night so that’s pretty kewl.
